Five-Minute Miracle Summer Spinach Wrap
It is August already, and most of this year has passed by in a whirlwind. In retrospect, I have done the most amount of self-growth this year.
I like the spinach tortilla-style wraps I buy from Aldi. They are healthier versions of buttery bread, without the rich, delicious taste, but they do sustain me on regular days of work-from-home.
I lay one tortilla wrap on my blue floral porcelain plate, then scoop one half spoon of hummus. I spread the hummus evenly across the center of the wrap, careful not to smear it onto the outer edges of the bread.
After I place the lid back on the hummus container, I use my freshly rinsed metal spoon to scoop one-half to one tablespoon of guacamole and spread the guac evenly on top of the hummus.
I rinse my spoon for the second time and press the lid of the guacamole container to place the two back into the refrigerator. I use wood chopsticks to select six lucky black olives to be set aside in a tiny round bowl.
I add one slice of smoked salmon, one slice of honey turkey, a small handful of chopped cilantro, and one slice of smoked Gouda, ripped into six pieces.
I fold it to eat. I love how simplistic it is. I call it the five-minute miracle food. It does not require any sort of cooking and serves as a snack or meal, depending on the level of hunger.
